Job Description:
• Troubleshooting any problem/alarm of the analyser within 4-6 hours, if the problem occurred cannot be solved, providing backup analyser (hospital setup)
• Repairing any breakdown mechanical parts of the analyser
• Upgrading software to the latest version when available
• Conducting evaluation performance of the analyser in terms of precision, correlation, accuracy, linearity, etc.
• Performing new installation of the analyser in the respective of the sites
• Providing training and producing technical material for both sales team and customer
• Attending troubleshooting calls by visiting clients with signed copy of service report
• Servicing the medical equipment by following the Preventive Plan Maintenance (PPM) checklist six-monthly with signed copy attached with service report
• Performing Testing and commissioning for asset in hospital setup
• Maintaining the highest standards of service professional and personal conduct when interacting with customers
• Keeping up the work quality by providing fast, effective and efficient technical support
• Offering after-sales support services
• Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
• Liaising with sales and marketing team and other technical experts from principal
• Assigning to take up Call Centre phone by providing prompt response during office hours and after office hours include weekends
• Negotiating contracts and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions for Sales Engineer
• Attending sales & service training conducting by principal
• The talents will be promoting all the AMD’s point-of-care testing (POCT) products in various departments according to product-related market segments
• Organising appointments and meetings with customer, healthcare professional (HCP), medical lab technologist (MLT), purchaser, etc.
• Demonstrating or presenting AMD’s products to relevant market segments
• Negotiating contracts or tenders with healthcare professional (HCP)
• Following-up the contracts or tenders persistently till the deal closed
• Achieving and managing monthly sales target e.g. conversion rate from cold to lead generation to sales
• Developing and growing current customer database
• Constantly update to superior/company on competitor activities/strategies/salesperson/pricing
• Preparing monthly reports on the GAP strategies (Grow – growth of existing account, Attack – competitor conversion, Penetration – new account)
